Congratulations to Coach Eric Orne who steps away from the Lady Raider program as the all time wins leader in Lady Raider basketball history. Thank you, Coach Orne, and your family for 14 memorable seasons. Also thank you to Coach Mark Longo. He also leaves the program after leading the Junior Varsity to very successful campaigns the last 5 years. Thank you both for years of memories.

The 2013-2014 Lady Raiders finished another successful season with a 3rd place finish in Class 3A with a record of 30-4. Season highlights included wins over Springfield, Rochester, Normal U-High and Annawan. Kristin Gengenbacher and Mary Beth Hugenberg were selected to several All State teams.

The 2012-13 Lady Raider basketball team made it a 3-PEAT as they won the Class 3A state basketball title marking the third consectutive title for the QND program and 5th overall. The team finished with a (30-0) record that included wins over Rolling Meadows, Nashville, Springfield, and Columbia Rock Bridge. Seniors Kassidy Gengenbacher and Jordan Frericks were named to numerous All-State teams.

2011-12 STATE CHAMPIONS AGAIN!! With a 62-31 victory over Breese Central the QND Lady Raiders captured back to back Class 2A state basketball titles. The Lady Raiders finished the season with a 33-1 record including tournament titles at Camp Point and Carrollton and victories over state ranked foes Springfield, Havana, Hardin Calhoun, and a thrilling win over Edwardsville in front of a packed house here at The Pit.

2010-11 STATE CHAMPIONS QND LADY RAIDERS!!!!!! With a 75-64 victory over Bloomington Central Catholic The Lady Raiders captured their first state title since 1984. The team finishes with a 31-1 record and a lifetime of memories.

The 2009-10 QND Lady Raider basketball team made the most of it’s journey this season with a 30-3 mark and a second place finish in the Class 2A state tournament. The team also won the Central and Carrollton tournaments during the regular season before going on a (20) game winning streak and capturing a trip to the state tournament. The team would like to thank the QND family for their tremoundous support this past season.

The 2008-09 QND Lady Raiders completed a fine season with a 28-1 record. The team was the #1 ranked team in class 3A for over ten weeks during the season that included a perfect regular season record of 27-0. Chloe Barnes, Karlee Gengenbacher, and Leigh McLaughlin were recognized by several publications as All-State perfomers. During the season the Lady Raiders won the Central tournament for the third consecutive year and the Carrollton tournament for the second consecutive year. Despite a tough loss to Highland in the regional final the team had a tremoundous season and turned in many memorable moments.

The 2007-08 Lady Raider basketball team just finished one of the greatest years in the history of the QND girls basketball program. The team finished the year with a 32-2 record and a 4th place finish at the IHSA class 3A state tournament. The Lady Raiders finished the regular season with a 27-0 record before winning the Regional Champioship at Jacksonville and then the Sectional Championship in Springfield. In the Super-Sectional the Lady Raiders outlasted Highland in overtime to advance to the state tournament in Bloomington. At the state tournament the team took state powerhouse Chicago Marshall to overtime before losing their first game of the season and then fell to Lombard Montini in the 3rd place game. It was a great season for the team and one the players will always remember.
