Girls Soccer 2010

2010 Girls Soccer Team

Inducted 2020. The 2010 girls soccer team started a run of dominance that hasn’t been matched in the state, winning the first of five Class 1A state championships in the decade.

QND Baseball Team 1985

1985 Baseball Team

Inducted 2020. The 1985 boys baseball team is one of only three teams in school history to reach the semifinals in the state tournament, but because no third or fourth place trophies were given at the time, they no hardware to show for their excellence.

Rich Reis Current

Rich Reis

Inducted 2020. “I don’t know in my 39 years that I ever came across anyone who was so involved in so many areas of the school,” said former QND Principal Ray Heilmann. “Some people just do their job. Rich was the type of person who if he saw something, he worked on it. His day would start at 6:30 and it often didn’t end until 12 at night, and he never complained.”

Dan Boltz Current

Dan Boltz ’55

Inducted 2020. Boltz was one of the top basketball players for Quincy Notre Dame during the 1950s when the Raiders strung together nine consecutive winning seasons.

Bobby Ridder Current

Bobby Ridder ’04

Inducted 2020. Excelling in one sport is great, and excelling in two sports is exceptional. Ridder was a three-time all-sectional selection for the boys soccer team and was named all-state in 2003. Ridder qualified for the state tennis tournament in doubles in three out of four years, and he won every doubles tournament during his senior year.

Brian Deters Current

Brian Deters ’91

Inducted 2020. Deters quietly turned in one of the best soccer careers in school history. He finished with 33 career goals, 24 career assists and 90 points.
